Coconut Barfi
Preparation time required :
1 hour
Ingredients :
- Coconuts Crushed - 3/4 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1&1/2 cup ( you can take 2-3 cups if required)
- Badam-kaju powder - 3 tbsp
- Ghee - 3 to 4 tbsp
- Elichi powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Green colour - less than 1/2 tbsp
- Vanilla essence - 2 to 3 drops
Method :
- Add ghee in pan & heat for 2 to 3 minutes
- Now add crushed coconut & mix with ghee for 2 to 3 minutes
- Now add sugar to it
- Add milk in it & mix well
- Keep on stiring continuously till mixture gets dry
- Add kaju badam powder & elaichi powder to it
- Now add green color & vanilla essence to it
- Mix all well
- Till mixture is hot
- Take a plate grease with ghee
- Now spread the mixture over it
- Keep it in fridge for next 30 minutes to cool down
- Cut it after 30 min in the shape you want
- Garnish with coconut & kaju
- Ready to eat coconut barfi
